After holding joint raid at traditional markets in East Jakarta, officers found foods with dangerous substance, Monday (3/28).
The formalin-preserved fishes are directly seized
East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture and Food Tenacity, Bayu Sarihastuti, food with dangerous substance found in four traditional markets.
Those markets are Klender SS, Ujung Menteng, Enjo, and Pulogadung.
Formalined Tofu Detected in Pasar Minggu“The formalin-preserved fishes are directly seized. We also give statement letter to stop selling formalin-preserved foods,” she said.
The traders will be reported to police if they ignore the warning. Her side will continue raiding traditional markets in East Jakarta.
